Keith was an amazing pilot. The information he shared about the island was interesting and relevant. The areas we dropped down into were breathtaking and the number of waterfalls is unbelievable.

Absolutely incredible experience. Was a little pricey, but definitely worth it. If you have an extra $100, would splurge for one of the two front row seats next fo the pilot. The back row has four seats but is not cramped at all. I was in one of the middle back row seats and still had a great view, so if you don’t get a front row seat - it’s still amazing! Our pilot, Barrett was very knowledgeable about the island (he was born & raised on Kauai) & made sure to rotate the helicopter near big views (aka the Jurassic park waterfall) so that all seats could see perfectly. I had never ridden in a helicopter before & will admit I was a bit nervous but the entire staff was very professional & Barrett was a perfect pilot. I felt entirely safe the whole time. Couldn’t speak more highly of Blue Hawaiian Tours - absolutely recommend!

- The entire booking process, check in was very straightforward. - The tour covered almost all aspects of Kauai. - Our pilot (Greg) kept the entire party of 6 very engaged throughout the tour. Greg made the tour lively and entertaining. - It would be good to book this tour earlier during the trip so that you get a chance to see the entire Kauai and then select areas which you want to explore more during the remainder of the trip.

Get there 45 minutes early! Viator said we should be there at 11:45, but that was the liftoff time. The check in lady was very rude about our lateness, but the flight itself was amazing! Definitely would do again, I just wish Viator had better information.

The views and our tour guide Chelsea was fantastic. Chelsea was very informative and very friendly. In fact all employees were great. Don't miss doing this if you go to Kauai it is worth every penny.

Great experience. I was a little unsure as this was my first helicopter tour but our pilot Greg was top notch and the tour was excellent. There were 6 of us on the trip but the helicopter used accommodated all of us comfortably.

My first helicopter ride and everything I was hoping for! The freedom to go into canyons and over mountains is exhilarating. Our pilot Keith new every waterfall and how they were changing that day and week. Covers the entire island with all its different aspects. I don’t know to express what it’s like to fly into the central extinct volcano with vertical yet green walls 3,000’ high, mists above and waterfalls streaming…transcendent? Be aware there are 6 seats, 2 in front with the pilot, 4 in the back. Without question the best seat is front right window. You can pay extra $100 to guarantee front row and I’d say worth it. Also the right side seats are favored 80% of the ride because it’s basically clockwise tour. If you weigh 250+ you will pay a bit extra and take up two spots. They will literally weigh you on site it’s part of flight planning. Window seats can take excellent photos and videos through the windows with iPhone or real camera. They also take a continuous HD stabilized video of the whole flight with an external camera including audio from the pilot and passengers which they will sell to you after for $60. I was happy with my own shots. My wife doesn’t like to fly and gets seasick but had no motion sickness problems and said although she was anxious it was well worth it! We had about 20 seconds of turbulence at one point early and I was worried but it ended and the rest of the ride was very smooth. I was worried they might cancel for weather, we had 15-25 winds and scattered rain (which is like every day in Kauai…) and it wasn’t a problem. We briefly went through a rain shower which was amazing! Mostly sunny. Amazing smooth landing. I highly recommend doing it once and paying for best seats!

By far the most awesome experience I've had on vacation. Greg was an awesome pilot and made sure we got the most from our tour. Literally brought tears to my eyes!

We booked a helicopter tour for the morning after our arriva in Kaua'i. During breakfast that morning we got a call that our tour was cancelled because of maintenance issues with the helicopter. We rebooked for a few days later. When we arrived we did our check in and safety briefing and as we were about to be led out to the helicopter we were informed that the helicopter had a maintenance issue and we should leave, rebook, and come back another day. Unfortunately this was our last full day in Kaua'i so it was not possible to rebook. We were unable to do our tour, which was a great disappointment. In summary, this company has a lot of maintenance issues. That said, if you do get to fly it can be a great experience. Next time we will use their 24 hour cancelation policy to book a tour every two days and hopefully actually get to fly on one of them. From experience two reservations are not enough.
